About the Position:
The Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Women’s History and Public History at the New-York Historical Society offers an exceptional opportunity for scholars in the field of women’s history and public history. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Women’s History or a related field (must be awarded by the time of appointment).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in exhibition development, public programming, or curriculum design.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit for the Women at the Center blog.
- Contribute to exhibitions in development and public programs.
- Coordinate the Diane and Adam E. Max Conference on Women’s History.
- Represent the Center for Women’s History in interdepartmental projects.
- Consult on K-12 curricula with the Education Department.
