Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. (or expected completion in 2025) in Economics, Environmental Economics, or a closely related field
- Strong background in microeconomic theory
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with experimental methods (lab or field experiments)
- Familiarity with water governance and environmental policy
- Interdisciplinary research experience
- Stakeholder engagement skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design economic contracts to promote NBS adoption among landowners
- Integrate theoretical models with empirical field data from across Europe
- Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders to ensure policy relevance
- Conduct simulations and economic experiments
- Work closely with Dr. Erik Ansink and contribute to EU-wide knowledge exchange
