Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in Digital Humanities, Digital Social Science, or Computer Science.
Research experience in two or more core research areas listed above.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to public engagement and research dissemination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum one year of post-PhD research experience.
Experience with Omeka or similar digital heritage platforms.
Proficiency in an additional European language.
Knowledge of Viking Age or public history (desirable, not essential).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct independent research under the supervision of a Principal Investigator.
Participate in grant writing and professional development.
Mentor postgraduate students.
Disseminate research findings through publications and public engagement.
Manage project-related administrative duties.
