Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Postgraduate degree (with minimum 55%) in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology / Ancient History / Anthropology
UGC-NET qualification or Ph.D.
Age limit: 28 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Female candidates)

Preferred Qualifications:

Academic background in Sociology, Anthropology, or Field Archaeology
Experience in tribal fieldwork
Proficiency in regional languages (especially spoken in Maharashtra)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ethnographic fieldwork in tribal regions (Gadchiroli, Maharashtra)
Collect and analyze cultural data relating to memorial stones
Assist in academic documentation, transcription, and report writing
Coordinate with the Project Director and contribute to ongoing research tasks
Present findings through articles and conference presentations
