Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD (obtained or to be defended soon) in Philosophy, Ethics, or related field
  • Demonstrable academic research experience and publications
  • Strong academic writing and communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest or experience in Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness practices
  • Ability to engage with public and political discourse
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Project management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an ethical framework for attention using Buddhist philosophical insights
  • Contribute to the ESDiT project’s research lines on intercultural philosophy and conceptual disruption
  • Actively engage in political and societal debates
  • Collaborate with academic peers across Eindhoven and Delft
  • Contribute to academic publications, outreach, and policy recommendations
