Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD (obtained or to be defended soon) in Philosophy, Ethics, or related field
Demonstrable academic research experience and publications
Strong academic writing and communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest or experience in Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness practices
Ability to engage with public and political discourse
Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
Project management skills

Key Responsibilities

Develop an ethical framework for attention using Buddhist philosophical insights
Contribute to the ESDiT project’s research lines on intercultural philosophy and conceptual disruption
Actively engage in political and societal debates
Collaborate with academic peers across Eindhoven and Delft
Contribute to academic publications, outreach, and policy recommendations
