Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Offer of admission to the PhD in Information Studies at the University of Glasgow, starting September 2025/26
- International, Home, or RUK fee status
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest or background in digital archives, fan cultures, or library science
- Prior research or academic experience relevant to the studentship
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on online fan communities’ publication and archiving practices
- Collaborate with the British Library on preservation methodologies
- Develop an ethical framework for collecting fan-generated content
- Engage in interdisciplinary research and present findings
