The WBI Excellence Postdoctoral Fellowship offers outstanding researchers the opportunity to undertake high-level scientific work at leading universities and research institutions across Wallonia and Brussels, Belgium. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) awarded by a foreign institution
- Applications allowed even if the PhD is ongoing (must submit proof of success before the deadline)
- Open to researchers of all nationalities
- Applications must fall within the eligibility window and field guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong research track record
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- International academic exposure
- Letters of recommendation from academic referees
Not Eligible:
- More than three previous applications to the programme
- Incomplete or late applications
- Applications not aligned with WBI objectives or eligibility terms
