About the Position
The University of Exeter invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Social Science to join the newly established Centre for Net Positive Health and Climate Solutions (Net+ Centre). This is a three-year, UKRI-funded position within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), based at Exeter’s Streatham Campus in the Egenis Centre (Centre for the Study of the Lifesciences), with hybrid work options available.
The successful candidate will work on interdisciplinary, impactful research projects exploring the links between climate change, health, and environmental-social-health inequalities. The position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across sectors and academic disciplines, contributing to meaningful social science research on one of the most pressing global challenges.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A PhD or equivalent in anthropology, STS, sociology, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in empirical qualitative research on health and climate/environmental change
- Willingness to work across interdisciplinary research teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with collaborative research involving public health, environmental agencies, or non-academic partners
- A track record of peer-reviewed publications
- Engagement with health inequality or environmental justice frameworks
