About the Program
The CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) in Paris invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in History of Art and History of Science, centred on the project “The Graphy of Origins”. This fascinating program explores how visual and textual strategies shaped early modern understandings of the cosmos and the origins of life, focusing on the 15th–17th centuries. Based at the renowned Centre André Chastel, the candidate will work within a dynamic academic environment with strong interdisciplinary collaborations, including the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle.
