About Position/Job
Lund University, one of the world’s leading higher education institutions in Sweden, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Evolutionary Ecology with a focus on Ecophysiology. The position is part of the ERC-funded research programme “HotLife – Pathways to Survival in a Warmer World”, aiming to understand how global warming affects reproductive success and survival in wild birds. The role combines fieldwork across Europe, laboratory experiments, and molecular analyses to investigate heritability of thermoregulatory traits and natural selection for temperature tolerance. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in evolutionary biology, animal physiology, molecular biology, or quantitative ecology, looking to advance their research career in a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and internationally collaborative environment.
