About the Position

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Digital Humanities, Archaeology, Art History, History, Geomatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Interest in image-based cultural heritage research
- Methodological knowledge in at least one of: Image Processing, Remote Sensing, or GIS
- Strong communication skills in English and German (or willingness to reach B2 level in German)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Python programming
- Initial research experience in digital heritage technologies
- Interest in university teaching
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and research in Digital Imaging in the Humanities
- Developing a doctoral research proposal and contributing to funding applications
- Participating in course planning and examinations in Art and Cultural History and Digital Humanities
- Teaching duties of 3 SWS
