About the Fellowship
Newnham College invites applications for its Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fellowship, designed to support early-career female researchers in pursuing independent, high-quality research. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to explore diverse disciplines across the arts, humanities, and social sciences within a stimulating and supportive academic community. Fellows can engage with established scholars, collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, and contribute to the intellectual life of Newnham College. With a focus on developing the next generation of academic leaders, the fellowship aligns with Newnham’s commitment to advancing gender equity in academia and fostering research that resonates on both national and global levels. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Female candidates with a recently awarded or submitted PhD
- Early-career researchers with limited postdoctoral experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong research potential and publication record
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or academic mentoring
Not Eligible:
- Candidates who do not meet the early-career criteria
