About the Fellowship

Newnham College invites applications for its Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fellowship, designed to support early-career female researchers in pursuing independent, high-quality research. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to explore diverse disciplines across the arts, humanities, and social sciences within a stimulating and supportive academic community. Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Female candidates with a recently awarded or submitted PhD
Early-career researchers with limited postdoctoral experience
Open to candidates of all nationalities; visa support conditional on appointment

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong research potential and publication record
Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or academic mentoring

Not Eligible:

Candidates who do not meet the early-career criteria
