Eligibility / Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- PhD in ethnology, cultural anthropology, social anthropology, or a related humanities discipline.
- Candidates holding a PhD in cultural studies or sociology may apply if they completed ethnology or anthropology studies at master’s level or were supervised by a specialist in ethnology or sociocultural anthropology.
- Experience conducting ethnographic fieldwork.
- University-level teaching experience.
- Research achievements demonstrated through publications appropriate to career stage.
- Evidence of participation in the research community through conferences or international academic placements.
- One representative publication not exceeding 40,000 characters, including spaces.
- Two recommendation letters from established scholars familiar with the applicant’s research.
- Excellent written and spoken Polish.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Eligibility under Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Conduct research within anthropology and ethnology.
