Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in History (with specialization in Asia and the World, Pacific World, or Global History)
ABDs near completion may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with current historiographical and curricular trends in World/Asian history

Key Responsibilities

Teach 4 courses per semester, including East Asian Civilization I and II
Design and teach upper-division electives in Asian, Pacific, or World history
Support departmental goals in undergraduate education and curriculum development
Engage with students and contribute to academic community service
