Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent international degree (completed or in progress at time of application).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research experience in Southeast Asian humanities with emphasis on Indonesia, the Malay World, or Islam.
- Advanced ability in one or more Southeast Asian languages.
- Evidence of inclusive teaching, mentorship, and academic service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in Modern Southeast Asian Humanities.
- Develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students.
- Contribute to departmental, university, and disciplinary service.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity within the academic community.
