Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in Human Geography or a closely related discipline
Strong record of high-quality publications
Experience in securing and leading externally funded research projects
Proven track record of teaching and supervising students
Commitment to academic leadership and departmental citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in heritage-related research and policy engagement
Experience working in interdisciplinary environments
Involvement in public or community-based heritage initiatives
Contributions to curriculum innovation or programme development

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop world-class research in Human Geography aligned with Heritage 360
Secure external research funding and manage collaborative projects
Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Supervise doctoral and postgraduate research
Develop new heritage-related teaching programmes, including CPD and Masters
Contribute to administrative roles and research mentoring within the department
