Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Human Geography or a closely related discipline
- Strong record of high-quality publications
- Experience in securing and leading externally funded research projects
- Proven track record of teaching and supervising students
- Commitment to academic leadership and departmental citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in heritage-related research and policy engagement
- Experience working in interdisciplinary environments
- Involvement in public or community-based heritage initiatives
- Contributions to curriculum innovation or programme development
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop world-class research in Human Geography aligned with Heritage 360
- Secure external research funding and manage collaborative projects
- Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
- Supervise doctoral and postgraduate research
- Develop new heritage-related teaching programmes, including CPD and Masters
- Contribute to administrative roles and research mentoring within the department
