Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

A Ph.D. awarded after January 1, 2024
For applicants who have not yet completed their Ph.D., substantial progress (at least half) in dissertation research is required at the time of application
Applicants must fulfill all requirements for the Ph.D., including dissertation filing, by June 15, 2026
Applicants must apply by the specified deadline and may only apply once to the Princeton Society of Fellows
Applicants from Education, Jurisprudence, or those holding a Ph.D. from Princeton University are not eligible
