Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A Ph.D. awarded after January 1, 2024
- For applicants who have not yet completed their Ph.D., substantial progress (at least half) in dissertation research is required at the time of application
- Applicants must fulfill all requirements for the Ph.D., including dissertation filing, by June 15, 2026
- Applicants must apply by the specified deadline and may only apply once to the Princeton Society of Fellows
- Applicants from Education, Jurisprudence, or those holding a Ph.D. from Princeton University are not eligible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong publication record or potential for scholarly achievement
- Teaching experience or potential for teaching excellence

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in the humanities or social sciences
