About Position/Job
CNRS – National Centre for Scientific Research is offering an exciting Postdoctoral Researcher position in Digital Data Curation for Heritage Science as part of the European GRAPHIA Project funded by Horizon Europe. Based at the MAP Laboratory (Modèles et simulations pour l’Architecture et le Patrimoine) in Marseille, this role focuses on data curation, semantic modelling, and knowledge graph development within heritage science and the humanities. The researcher will contribute to Work Package 3, supporting the creation of structured, interoperable research data corpora and FAIR-compliant workflows. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Geography, Architecture, Sociology, or a related discipline
- Expertise in data collection and curation in heritage science
- Experience managing thesauri and controlled vocabularies
- Strong understanding of FAIR data principles
- Knowledge of semantic modelling approaches
- French language proficiency (C1 level)
- English language proficiency (B1 level)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and international research teams
- Familiarity with metadata standards and research data infrastructures
- Interest in open science and cultural data dissemination
Key Responsibilities
