Eligibility & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (mandatory for all new entrants).
• Minimum First Class (60% or CGPA 6.5/10) in all preceding degrees.
• Engineering Streams: B.Tech/BE/BS (4-year) or integrated UG+PG degrees + Ph.D.
• Detailed eligibility is governed by Schedule ‘E’ of the NIT Statutes.

Preferred Qualifications:Application Process

• Only Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible.
• Candidates currently in service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and vigilance clearance from their employer at the time of the interview.
