Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have completed their PhD between 1 October 2021 and 1 September 2026
  • Candidates yet to complete their PhD must provide a formal statement from their institution confirming the expected submission date
  • Open to international and Israeli scholars

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated research excellence through publications or equivalent scholarly output
  • Experience in interdisciplinary or comparative research in the humanities and related fields
  • Engagement with innovative research methodologies, including digital or cross-cultural approaches

Not Eligible:

  • Applicants who completed their PhD at Tel Aviv University
  • Candidates unable to commit to the full two-year term
