About the Fellowship
The Fellowship in the Society of Fellows in the Humanities at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a highly prestigious, fully funded opportunity for outstanding early-career postdoctoral scholars in the humanities. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD conferred after 1 January 2024 and no later than 30 June 2026
- Demonstrated excellence in humanities research
- Applicants must not currently hold a tenure-track position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong publication or writing record
- Interdisciplinary research interests
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative humanities research environment
Not Eligible:
- Applicants with PhDs awarded before 1 January 2024
- Scholars currently employed in tenure-track academic positions

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent, high-quality humanities research
