This highly competitive residential fellowship promotes advanced interdisciplinary research in experimental humanities, digital humanities, and creative academic fields. In addition, it strengthens global academic collaboration through partnerships with Oxford, MIT, Stanford, UBC, and Swansea University, ensuring international research engagement.
Fellows will undertake a structured research residency lasting 1 to 6 months, or up to 10 months for distinguished scholars, in Grenoble, France. Moreover, the programme enables researchers to focus on high-impact publications, collaborative outputs, and long-term scholarly projects in an academic environment.
The fellowship is closely aligned with interdisciplinary humanities, environmental humanities, urban studies, media studies, performance research, and digital innovation in social sciences. Furthermore, it promotes interdisciplinary approaches connecting culture, technology, and society with global academic debates, fostering innovative research.
Applicants are required to hold a PhD and demonstrate strong academic research experience with publications in relevant fields. Additionally, candidates must be affiliated with a non-French institution and hold a permanent or tenured academic position.
