About the Scholarship
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) is a prestigious, government-funded opportunity designed to attract high-achieving international students to Ireland for advanced study. Managed by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) in partnership with Irish higher education institutions, the scholarship supports NFQ Level 9 and 10 programmes, including Master’s, Postgraduate Diploma, and PhD degrees. Awarded annually to 60 outstanding candidates, GOI-IES promotes international academic mobility, global engagement, and career development across diverse disciplines. The scholarship enables recipients to study at leading Irish institutions while contributing to Ireland’s international education strategy and long-term talent goals.
