The selected fellow will work on a cutting-edge project titled “Development of a Compression Ignition Engine working on Ammonia/Natural Gas & Biodiesel Blends”, contributing to experimental IC engine design, CFD modeling, and Machine Learning-based optimization. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering or related disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research experience in internal combustion engines
- Proficiency in CFD tools (e.g., Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+, Converge)
- Demonstrable research work (publications, thesis, reports)
- Strong communication and academic writing skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental investigations on engine performance
- Model combustion dynamics using CFD techniques
- Apply machine learning to optimize engine efficiency
- Prepare and present research findings in conferences and journals
- Contribute to the broader goals of the Greenko School of Sustainability
