About Position/Job

The University of Southampton, a globally ranked research-intensive institution, invites applications for a full-time, permanent Lecturer (A) position in Archaeology with specialization in Palaeolithic Archaeology and/or Palaeoanthropology. Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Archaeology or a related discipline

  • Developing research profile with peer-reviewed publications
  • Experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship of the UK HEA or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Archaeological fieldwork experience
  • Contribution to grant applications
