Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Earth Sciences or relevant discipline
- Experience in teaching or willingness to teach at UG/PG level
- Capability to supervise undergraduate research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in carbonate sedimentology or stratigraphic Earth system change
- Strong research track record in palaeontology subfields
- Experience in fieldwork-based teaching
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and teach a new module on palaeobiology and stratigraphy
- Deliver undergraduate and master’s Earth Science modules
- Participate in field classes and supervise BSc research projects
- Conduct independent and collaborative research
- Engage with departmental teaching and academic life
