Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree completed by start date
- Strong academic record with relevant research experience
- Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research
- Willingness to split time equally between MPG and WIS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience in international collaborative research
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct a collaborative research project jointly supervised by MPG and WIS researchers
- Spend equal time at both institutions during the four-year fellowship
- Publish results in high-impact journals and present at conferences
- Contribute to the scientific community and engage with interdisciplinary teams
