About the Fellowship

Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in a humanities discipline awarded between 2013 and 2026 from an institution other than Case Western Reserve University
  • Demonstrated potential to contribute to one or more of the Baker-Nord Institute’s affiliated departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong record of scholarly publications or creative research
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level
  • Evidence of interdisciplinary engagement

Not Eligible:

  • Applicants who received their PhD from Case Western Reserve University
