About the Programme
FCiências.ID, in collaboration with the University of Lisbon, invites applications for a fully funded PhD fellowship in Earth Sciences and Environmental Modelling. This Research Fellowship (BI) offers an excellent opportunity for a PhD researcher to join the Horizon Europe project WorldTrans – Transparent Assessments for Real People, hosted by FCiências.ID – Association for Research and Development of Sciences. The research will take place at the Institute Dom Luiz (IDL), Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, under the supervision of Professor Alexandre C. Köberle, with co-supervision from Cristina Branquinho. The fellowship centres on environmental modelling, systems dynamics, biodiversity indicators, and analysing interactions between human and natural systems. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and international research activities, the project advances global sustainability, climate modelling, and nature-based scenario development. This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in global environmental assessments and cutting-edge modelling approaches.
