About the Position
The CLEANZ Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) is inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral/Postdoc Research Fellowship in Carbon Capture and Utilization. This opportunity is aimed at fresh PhD graduates or early-career researchers with an interest in bioelectrochemistry, microalgal technologies, or CO₂ conversion. The fellowship aligns with CLEANZ CoE’s mission to develop scalable, IP-driven technologies in carbon capture and utilization.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Climate Change, or allied areas
- Provisional PhD degree certificate (at minimum)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in chromatography or electrochemistry
- Experience in experimental setup design
- Publications in Scopus-indexed journals
- Strong academic record and communication skills
- No publications in predatory journals
Key Responsibilities
- Develop bioelectrochemical prototypes for CO₂ conversion
- Assess CO₂ uptake in varying flue gas environments
- Identify and optimise lipid-producing strains
- Prepare technical reports and research articles
- Manage lab operations
