Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed PhD/Doctorate in biology, ecology, environmental sciences, or a related discipline
- Proven research experience with biogeochemical methods
- Experience in fieldwork, laboratory research, and data management
- Programming experience in R
- Teaching experience at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels
- Excellent English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical skills in handling and building environmental measuring devices
- Experience working in interdisciplinary research teams
- Strong organisational skills and independent research capability
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research, including field and laboratory work
- Publish research in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Acquire third-party research funding
- Collaborate with national and international researchers and technicians
- Contribute to laboratory and research group organisation and management
- Teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, particularly in field settings
- Maintain and manage field and laboratory equipment
