Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in humanities or social sciences specialising in East Asia
- Degree received within four years before the start date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in China, Japan, Korea, or Mongolia
- Willingness to engage in departmental seminars and academic activities
- Ability to teach a course (Hebrew not required but welcome)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in East Asian studies
- Participate in and organise academic activities within the Frieberg Center
- Teach a semester-long course in the Department of Asian Studies
- Present research at departmental seminars and relevant forums
- Spend at least two days per week on campus, including seminar day
