About the Position
The University of York invites applications for a funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Archaeological Science at the Department of Archaeology, located in York, United Kingdom. This exciting academic opportunity focuses on lipid residue analysis of pottery vessels and contributes to international research initiatives in archaeological science and European prehistory. Moreover, the role is part of the AHRC-DFG funded ReNEW project, examining the Mesolithic–Neolithic transition.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the BioArCh research centre, undertaking independent research using advanced analytical techniques such as GCMS and GC-IRMS.
