About the Position

The Program in Agrarian Studies at Yale University’s MacMillan Center is inviting applications for two Postdoctoral Associate positions for the 2026–2027 academic year. This prestigious fellowship supports emerging and established scholars, as well as knowledgeable activists and public intellectuals, whose research brings new insights into the study of agrarian societies, agriculture, farmers, and rural life. Fellows will be based in New Haven, Connecticut, and are expected to contribute actively by presenting their work, participating in the weekly colloquium, and engaging in intellectual exchange with scholars across disciplines. The program is internationally renowned for its interdisciplinary approach, bridging the humanities, social sciences, environmental studies, and related fields, with a strong focus on lived experience and theoretical innovation.

Key Responsibilities
