About Position/Job
Nicolaus Copernicus University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Bioarchaeology at the Centre for Modern Interdisciplinary Technologies (ICNT). Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Archaeology
- Publication record in international disciplinary journals
- Experience in stable isotope analysis of skeletal remains
- Ability to submit advanced funding applications to national and international agencies
- Excellent communication skills in English and good knowledge of Polish
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4–10 years of research experience in archaeology or bioarchaeology
- Experience in interdisciplinary, ERC-funded research projects
- Previous experience supervising PhD students or collaborative research teams
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in archaeological science and bioarchaeology
- Coordinate research activities in the Human Ecology Group
- Write and publish scientific articles in high-impact journals
- Co-supervise PhD students and support training initiatives
