Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Neurogenetics at the National Institute on Aging, USA – Apply by 31 January 2026

About Position/Job

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Genomics at the Laboratory of Neurogenetics (COEVOLviNG Lab). Based in the USA, this role focuses on leveraging state-of-the-art computational approaches and large omics datasets to study how sex-related mechanisms influence neurodegenerative disease. The fellow will lead projects analysing molecular genetics, genome-wide datasets, and transcriptomics from both human and nonhuman primates. The lab’s research intersects neurodegenerative disease biology, sex-specific mechanisms, and comparative neuroscience, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact publications and collaborative NIH research. This position is ideal for candidates with a PhD in genomics, neuroscience, or computational biology, and it offers access to extensive NIH resources and interdisciplinary collaborations.
