About the Position

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow position for a research project funded by BIRAC, Government of India. The project focuses on the Extension and digitalisation of the Indian Aphasia Battery (IAB). Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

PhD or MTech with at least three years of research experience
One research paper published in an SCI-indexed journal
Exposure to Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering
Proficiency in Signal Processing, AI, and software (Python, Matlab)
Experience in working with Gait and Balance-based devices (Camera-based or Pressure Mat-based devices)
Experience with patient data collection is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Previous involvement in similar research or projects
Strong understanding of device-based signal processing and AI modeling

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the extension and digitalization of the Indian Aphasia Battery
Work with signal processing algorithms and AI models
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance the project
Develop and improve microcontroller-based devices for gait and balance analysis
Conduct data collection from patients and analyze the results
