Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or an allied discipline
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible
- Minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards
- Minimum of 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10 and 12
- A good record of scientific publications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in drug discovery or medicinal chemistry
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in synthetic organic chemistry or biochemistry
- Contribute to the development of research in drug discovery and medicinal chemistry
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Support the department’s research objectives through active academic engagement
