Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related allied disciplines.
  • Proven research experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
  • Strong academic publication record.
  • Candidates who have submitted their thesis may apply, but proof of Ph.D. award must be presented at the time of the interview.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in modelling multiphase flow with or without phase change.
  • Hands-on experience with CFD tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, Basilisk, etc.
  • Understanding of phase change heat transfer phenomena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop CFD-based models to simulate boiling and DNB.
  • Conduct advanced numerical research in multiphase heat transfer.
  • Collaborate within the department to contribute toward ongoing thermal engineering research.
  • Prepare reports and publications in high-impact journals.
