- Schools: Nano Science, Environmental Science, Law, Management, Telecommunications, Quality and Reliability, Medical Science, Entrepreneurship, and more
Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field from a recognised Indian or foreign institution
- First class or equivalent in the preceding degree
- Minimum two publications in SCI journals based on Ph.D. work
- Age limit: Below 32 years at the time of application
- Indian and foreign nationals are eligible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong academic profile
- Interdisciplinary research background
- International exposure or collaborative research experience
Not Eligible:
- Fresh Ph.D. graduates from IIT Kharagpur
- Candidates exceeding age limit without relaxation criteria
- Canvassing or lobbying will lead to disqualification
Fellowship/Job Benefits
- Monthly stipend: ₹80,000–₹1,00,000 depending on level
- Contingency grant: ₹50,000 per annum
- Housing: Studio accommodation on campus (subject to availability), or HRA as per norms
- Conference travel support (domestic/international)

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent, high-quality research in the chosen department/school/centre
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals
