The Centre for the Study of the Renaissance (CSR) at the University of Warwick invites expressions of interest from early career researchers in Renaissance Studies for the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD viva voce must be completed between 1 April 2023 and 1 April 2026
- UK/EEA nationals OR PhD completed at a UK institution OR strong UK academic ties
- Not previously held a permanent academic post
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong publication record or a near-complete monograph
- Specialisation in Renaissance and early modern studies
- Interdisciplinary research background
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and complete a significant publishable research project
- Collaborate with Warwick’s faculty and contribute to CSR’s research culture
- Participate in seminars, conferences, and interdisciplinary discussions
- Engage with the wider academic community through outreach and publication
