Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed PhD in Modern Greek Studies within the last eight years
  • Specialisation in history or literature
  • Proven research competence with peer-reviewed international publications
  • Teaching experience and strong didactic skills
  • Excellent written and spoken Modern Greek and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Very good command of German
  • Experience in international research collaborations
  • Participation in research projects
  • Familiarity with university procedures and structures

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses independently (four hours per week per semester)
