Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed PhD in Modern Greek Studies within the last eight years
- Specialisation in history or literature
- Proven research competence with peer-reviewed international publications
- Teaching experience and strong didactic skills
- Excellent written and spoken Modern Greek and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Very good command of German
- Experience in international research collaborations
- Participation in research projects
- Familiarity with university procedures and structures
Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses independently (four hours per week per semester)
- Supervise students and support teaching projects
- Develop an independent research profile
- Conduct and participate in research projects
- Publish internationally and give scholarly lectures
