Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in computer science, neuroscience, machine learning, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python and modern machine learning tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in computational neuroscience, vision science, or model evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborative, open science
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced benchmarks and evaluation methods for vision models
- Design metrics for comparing neural and behavioural data with computational predictions
- Collaborate with CRC groups to establish open, reproducible model evaluation standards
- Mentor student assistants and contribute to the CRC’s research strategy
