About the Position
The CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Geosciences, focusing on the investigation of physical–chemical conditions controlling Hadean zircon crystallisation and survival. Hosted by Géosciences Environnement Toulouse, this ERC-funded project aims to refine our understanding of zircon–melt equilibrium and the physicochemical processes that shaped early Earth (>4 Ga). The successful candidate will work on zircon/melt partitioning experiments, trace element analysis, and geodynamic modelling. This interdisciplinary research will link mantle–crust differentiation, planetary geodynamics, and habitability, advancing CNRS’s mission to unravel the Earth’s early geological evolution.
