Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in a relevant biological or anatomical science by start date
Demonstrated experience in teaching anatomy, ideally to medical students
Hands-on dissection-based instructional experience
Proven success in independent research
Experience in data collection and analysis (in vivo, morphometrics, computational modeling)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching in gross anatomy, histology, or medical imaging
Publications in peer-reviewed journals
Experience working with cross-disciplinary research teams

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in evolutionary biomechanics
Serve as Teaching Assistant for Human Body Course (gross anatomy, histology, imaging)
Teach and mentor first-year medical students in both lecture and lab settings
Collaborate with researchers in the Ross Lab and across the department
