Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent in History, History of Science, Mathematics, or related discipline, completed before start date
- Strong research record, particularly relevant to the history of science or mathematics
- Ability to develop independent research aligned with the project themes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in international collaborative research projects
- Ability to engage with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the British Academy funded project on mathematical symbolism
- Develop and pursue independent research within the project framework
- Collaborate with internal and international researchers
- Participate in academic activities, including dissemination and publication
- Manage allocated research and travel budgets
