Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Archaeobotany, Isotope Analysis, and Global Archaeology. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Archaeology
- Proven publication record in international disciplinary journals
- Expertise in archaeobotany, palaeoenvironmental studies, and stable isotope analysis
- Experience in at least two Eurasian regions
- Excellent English and Polish language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interdisciplinary and international research projects
- Ability to design independent research projects and apply for external funding
- Experience in collaborative archaeological science initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on plant remains and human ecology
- Apply isotope analysis and archaeobotanical methods to archaeological datasets
- Contribute to scientific publications and reporting
