About Position/Job
The University Assistant Pre-Doc role at the University of Vienna offers an exciting opportunity for early-career scholars in Protestant theology with a strong interest in systematic theology. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Master’s degree in Protestant theology or equivalent teacher training (certificate required by start date)
- Strong interest in systematic theology
- Willingness to attend and organise national/international conferences
- Good teamwork and IT skills
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in research and publications
- Participation in academic seminars
- Independent teaching experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research projects within the Institute
- Contribute to publications and academic outputs
- Participate in doctoral seminars
- Teach independent courses according to regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks within the Institute
