Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant field
- Proven academic excellence in Greek history and epigraphy
- Strong publication record and international recognition
- Experience in teaching and supervising at all levels
- Willingness to engage in university administration
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in leading research projects
- Track record of successful third-party funding acquisition
- Competence in gender and diversity sensitive teaching and leadership
- Commitment to faculty research themes and doctoral training programmes
- Willingness to learn German within three years (sufficient for teaching and administration)
Key Responsibilities

- Publish in top-tier academic venues
- Supervise BA, MA, and PhD theses
- Organise academic excursions and contribute to curriculum development
