About Position/Job

The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (iBRIC-inStem) in Bengaluru, a premier autonomous research institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, is hiring a Project Associate in the laboratory of Dr. Diya Binoy Joseph. The selected candidate will work on a cutting-edge project focused on epithelial homeostasis and innate immune defences in the genitourinary tract. The work will involve mouse models, stem cells, and cell culture systems to understand host-microbe interactions and tissue regeneration. This is an exceptional opportunity for early-career researchers to contribute to a translationally oriented and collaborative scientific environment. The position is initially for 11 months and renewable based on performance and project need.

  • Experience in mouse handling, stem cell biology, or epithelial tissue culture
